			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Yesterday I started hearing from folk that their <a href="http://www.gmail.com" target="_blank">GMail</a> account had gone haywire. They were locked out or the system kept stalling &#8211; and similar experiences were found in Google Calendar and other Google Applications. These issues have now been resolved with Google engineers sorting everything out pretty quickly.</p>
<p>Its a little bit wierd &#8211; you get something for free and you get lots of complaints when it breaks! What do people expect of Google that said the telling line in one email I received regarding these problems with google applications included:</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;[It's] Kind of annoying when I&#8217;m trying to do things, and kind of unusual for them; they&#8217;re normally very reliable.</p>
<p>Maybe they hired some useless XXXXX from Myspace&#8230;&#8221;</p></blockquote>
