Google Browser Announced - Google Chrome

God I hate geeks :p But this morning Jamie emailed me about a new Google browser (called Google Chrome)- you can tell I was working late last night when I completely missed this by turning off my mail client and thereby not seeing the RSS feeds which now fill Thunderbird about this.

So TY to Jamie for the heads up. Matt Cutts put a blog post up about the Google browser and the comic (how very Google) about the browser can be found here. Not many companies can get away with using a comic for a product release but I hope more companies do - far simpler to read than a technical specification!

Back in 2004 the BBC had stories about Google creating a browser. And I remember seeing something by Jason Kottke about this too.

Well done to the guys at Google for yet another product designed to piss off Microsoft - am sure Bill will be over the moon that he has another browser to test his designs in!!!
