		<description>If you find any good phpBB extensions for controlling spam let me know - I&#039;ve got one board that I run for the local chess league and I have to keep it set to no postings until you&#039;ve had one approved because otherwise it&#039;s wide open to spammers. Every few days I have to go in and purge all the new registrations from the bots and find the occasional real person. 

Like too much open source software it&#039;s not well thought through and relies on extensions for what should be basic functions.</description>
